David Ireland, University of Leeds, an RMA/SMI research grant for attending and giving a paper at the Music and Moving Image V conference, to be held in New York, May 2010.
Rebecca Eumorfopoulos, Royal Holloway, University of London, an RMA/SMI research grant for fieldwork trips to study female popular musicians in the UK.
Christine Andrews, University of Oxford, the Fellowes Student Research Grant, for attending and giving a paper at the RMA/SMI Annual Conference in Dublin.
