This study day, focussing on keyboard composer-performers of the Western Art Music tradition to 1900, aims to explore some of the problems facing the modern interpretation and appreciation of their works. The day is to consist of individual presentations, a round table discussion, and a keynote talk from Mozart scholar Professor Simon Keefe (City University).
