The professional ensemble Trio Atem (www.myspace.com/trioatem) was founded by three Manchester graduates in order to perform Lachenmann’s temA. Trio Atem’s repertoire includes many commissions & existing works exploring the full sonic gamut available to the instrumentation of flute, voice and cello. The trio is well versed in extended techniques & is at home working with electronics & graphic scores, although they also happily embrace conventional notation & sonic forms.
Deadline: 15 October, 2010. To be submitted electronically to matthew.pilcher@postgrad.manchester.ac.uk or by post to the Martin Harris Centre (Attn: Matthew Pilcher, Bridgeford Street, Manchester M13 9PL). Please email additional enquiries to Nina Whiteman (ninawhiteman@hotmail.com).
