The RMA Council
The Council of Management (or 'Council') is the governing body of the RMA, and is elected by the membership at the AGM. Members can view minutes of recent meetings (login required).
Voting Members
The council members are the Association's president, the immediate past president, vice-presidents, the honorary treasurer, and between seven and ten 'ordinary members'. The council members are also trustees of the charity.
Non-Voting Members
A number of others may attend council meetings, but are not allowed to vote. These include past presidents, chairs of the RMA committees, editors of the RMA publications, student representatives, and representatives of the Scottish chapter and Society for Musicology in Ireland.
