The Royal Musical Association

are normally be organised by post-graduate student members of the RMA;
are sometimes collaborative events run by more than one institution;
normally focus on a single topic or visit;
are an opportunity for exploration of the subject matter;
may include seminars, discussion groups, performances and workshops;
include opportunities for post-graduate students to develop skills and awareness; and
offer organisers an opportunity to develop administrative and fund-raising skills, the ability to work independently and to assume responsibility for a project.

The RMA welcomes proposals for Study Days from all members of the Association. If you have an idea for a study day, you should first contact the Student Liaison Officer or the student representatives.

Study days are supported by the Association through publicity to members and a modest financial contribution.
