The trustees of Musica Britannica invite applications for the position of Secretary to the Trust. The Secretary is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Trust and supports the trustees in the management of the Trust’s charitable activities, which include publication of the series Musica Britannica
and the awarding of research grants. The Secretary also assists the editorial committee with the administration and editorial preparation of Musica Britannica. The Secretary receives an honorarium, which is reviewed annually. Applicants should have experience of administrative work (including the management of financial records) and of proofreading music to a high standard; they should also be able to demonstrate interest in, and knowledge of, music in an area relevant to Musica Britannica. Applicants are invited to send a CV and a letter of application explaining their suitability for the role to the Secretary, from whom further information may be requested. The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 11 January 2019.
