RMA Study Days
The RMA holds regular study days on a wide range of topics in the study of music. Study days are normally (although not exclusively) convened by postgraudate students, with the RMA providing advice and assistance, and financial support.
The RMA welcomes proposals for Study Days from all members of the Association. If you have an idea for a study day, you should first contact the Student Liaison Officer or one of the student reps. Organisers should consult the guidelines on RMA profile at student study day and training days.

About RMA Study Days
The study days...
- are normally be organised by post-graduate student members of the RMA;
- are sometimes collaborative events run by more than one institution;
- normally focus on a single topic or visit;
- are an opportunity for exploration of the subject matter;
- may include seminars, discussion groups and workshops;
- include opportunities for post-graduate students to develop skills and awareness; and
- offer organisers an opportunity to develop administrative and fund-raising skills, the ability to work independently and to assume responsibility for a project.
