The winner of the RMA Research Chronicle competition for best submitted paper at the RMA Research Students’ Conference in January 2023 is Marilyn Billingham, for her submission ‘Crafting Music, Crafting Democracy: Gustav Holst’s Pedagogic Initiatives’.

The winner receives mentorship by the editors to prepare their paper for submission to the journal, and in addition a CUP book voucher.
